At United Management Services, we know that resident selection is of utmost importance. UMS views resident selection as one of our most important functions. UMS rental applications are presented by site personnel to prospective residents during showing appointments. Prospects can also obtain an application at our office or from the “Application” boxes located outside the leasing offices during non office hours. The ease to apply has increased the numbers of applications we receive as well as sped up the processing time.

During the process of applicant screening, UMS conducts credit and criminal background checks for all household members 18 years or older. The processing time for applications for pre-approval usually takes only 24 hours. The Compliance portion of the application process is determined by the complexity of the third party verifying entity.
