United Management Services uses a strict rent collection policy. Our leases specify that UMS collects rent on the first of the month and rent is considered late if not received by the close of business on the 5th day of the month. On the 6th day, all delinquent accounts are sent a late notice and assessed a late fee. On the 10th day, the delinquent accounts receive Final Late Notices, and eviction notices are filed on the 11th if the accounts are still not paid.
UMS policy does not accept cash as an acceptable form of payment and signs are posted in all site offices.
