Kathi DeWtt

CEO

 

Kathi, Chief Executive Officer of UMS is a licensed South Carolina Real Estate Commission PMIC and Board of Director Member of AHC of SC. She has held a HCCP designation from the National Home Builders Association, and has participated with SAHMA and CCAH during Annual Conferences in South Carolina. She is also a South Carolina Notary.

 

Kathi has over 20 years experience in multifamily property management, which includes Conventional, Condominium, Rural Development 515, HUD 236, HUD 202, Section 42 LIHTC, Home Funds, Housing Trust Funds and Tax Exempt Bond communities.

 

 



Savannah N. Hill

President

 

Savannah, President of UMS is a licensed South Carolina Real Estate Commission Property Manager. Savannah joined our Compliance Department in 2009, and by 2015 she was serving as our Vice President of Operations. She is also a South Carolina Notary.

 

Savannah  has over 13 years experience in multifamily property management, to include Rural Development 515, Section 42 LIHTC, Home Funds, Housing Trust Funds and Tax Exempt Bond communities. Savannah is a former HCCP designate, as well as STAR certified.

Her management portfolio exceeded 2,000 Affordable units at a time and also included the supervision of the Compliance for excess of 2,000 Affordable units.

Hailey Bauckman

CFO


Hailey has over 15 years’ experience in property and Asset Management.  Her experience includes LIHTC, Conventional, HUD, HOME and Tax Credit Bond, she has also assisted in many REAC inspections.   Hailey is be responsible for the real estate investment portfolio including regulatory compliance, budgetary oversight, risk management and capital expenditure process.  Before joining United Management Services of Columbia, LLC, Hailey worked for a developer and was responsible for managing all aspects of the development and ownership of affordable housing projects which include targeting specific sites for development, negotiating purchase contracts, ordering and analyzing market and feasibility studies, underwriting, securing an allocation of tax credits from state housing agencies, negotiating with equity partners and lenders, managing due diligence and overseeing the closing process.  Following the closing period her responsibilities include managing the general contractor during building /renovation phase, ensuring that the project is on time and within budget.

 

By utilizing Section 42 Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, Tax Exempt Bonds, HOME, 1602 Funds and HUD Risk Sharing Programs she has assisted in completing more than 15 affordable housing projects and was an Asset Manager for over 3,200 units.
